KFDM COOP Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 This game is huge Friday for both Teams. Playoff implications on the line! Who wins this one?
mustangs_2007 Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 wos should win this one but it will be a really close game
Ty Cobb Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 This game will probably decide who gets the 3rd and final playoff spot. Who can find a way to win without their #1? I say HJ pulls it out, 6-4.
ESPN Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I believe WO-S is throwing their #1 Sparks. He didn't pitch but 2 Innings Tuesday.
Ty Cobb Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I believe WO-S is throwing their #1 Sparks. He didn't pitch but 2 Innings Tuesday. WOS is tough with Sparks on the hill. WOS wins, if Sparks throws.
Homer Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Sparks did not pitch 2 innings, he only threw 1. Nick Ayers did not pitch any against BC either.
mustangs_2007 Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 wos has been hitting the ball really well lately hopefully they will keep it up but ive been hearing that sparks wont be throwing against hj
highlightman Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 without HJ's ace on the mound...it should be an easy win for the Mustangs...and Ayers pitching should shut them down WOS - 7 HJ - 1
ESPN Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 I heard today that Sparks may not pitch, should be a good game.
MIF04 Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 I think Sparks or Ayers makes the difference here....esp. since HJ has already played their ace. On the other hand, you still gotta go out there and hit it, catch it and throw it. Big, big game in that district.
Ballboy Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 Why should the Mustangs only win if Sparks is on the mound? Look at the numbers for Ayers.
KFDM COOP Posted April 6, 2006 Author Report Posted April 6, 2006 Ayers is doing a great job! If Ayers pitches Friday you have to like WOS chances.
BenchWarmer Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 No matter if Sparks or Ayers is throwing WOS has a great chance of winning any ball game, both pitchers have had a great year so far and they will only continue to get better. Hopefully Ayers will dominate like Sparks did and hover around 17 k's and no earned runs allowed, might not be a shut out because of the way WOS' defense has been. WOS-6 HJ-0
bearfan Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 [quote] Hopefully Ayers will dominate like Sparks did and hover around 17 k's and no earned runs allowed, might not be a shut out because of the way WOS' defense has been. You should swing the bat and play good defense to be able to win a game! Not depend on your pitching to have an unbelievable performance just to have a chance to win!
Homer Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 not everyone has the talent that lcm has. WO-S has already proven time and time again that they can be shaky defensively.
ESPN Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 I may have to give the nod to HJ if Sparks or Ayers don't pitch. Heard Sparks arm is hurting and Ayers is sick.
HFeldudearino Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 well i do have to say that hj played a good game against hf all the players did well except for number forty who did not seem to be paying attention to the game and more concerned with the tailgaters in the outfield, but even if they werent their im not to sure he would have played any better.
walkoff Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 This is a huge game but with ayers on the mound and the mustang sticks coming alive the stangs should pull it out. Stangs...5 Hawks....1
