JS Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 D.J. Massey of Dayton--has shut down everyone's running game so far and has a tremendous bat
Guest Cardinal12 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Casey's been hurt just now getting back in his game....... Rowell isn't bad but IMO Cameron Cambell BH is by far the best in our area (considering BH is in our area...)
TCSBalumni Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Sorry, but LCM's catcher doesn't even come close to Massey w/Dayton. Dayton stole numerous times against him, and he had two passed balls Tuesday night against the bulldogs that tied up the game. He does have a great bat though. What position will he be playing in college?
TXBaseball Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Sorry, but LCM's catcher doesn't even come close to Massey w/Dayton.That may very well be so, but it doesn't mean that he isn't a very good catcher.
JS Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 That may very well be so, but it doesn't mean that he isn't a very good catcher.Rowell may have had a bad game--But the night Dayton played LCM Massey was the best catcher on the field-w/o doubt
TCSBalumni Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Rowell may have had a bad game--But the night Dayton played LCM Massey was the best catcher on the field-w/o doubtMOST DEF
bearcaveman Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Why don't you try promoting your guys without having to put other team’s players down. It shows some real in insecurities. Dayton stole numerous times against him, and he had two passed balls Tuesday night against the bulldogs that tied up the game. He does have a great bat though. b]Just to set the record straight balls that bounce infront of the plate are called wild pitches. If you are a Dayton guy how could you have been at our game. Also the pitcher has as much to do with stolen bases as the catcher. Rowell may have had a bad game--But the night Dayton played LCM Massey was the best catcher on the field-w/o doubtI am sure Jake was to busy celebrating the game winning triple off of “the best pitcher in district 22-4a†to worry about this. What position will he be playing in college? Not sure he will get to catch at D-1 McNeese as a freshman or not. I guess if he wanted to make sure he could catch as a freshman he could have went to a D-II JUCO.
utguy09 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 I think that all around that jake rowell is the best catcher in the area!
dayton Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 offense included??? maybe so. both are very good.
daytonbaseball Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 haha division 2 juco...just to set the record straight Dj massey was offered from mcneese at the begginning of the summer but turned it down because it wasnt full ride and the facilities are crappy due to the hurricane so..and the division II juco your are talking about won the Divion II juco world series and sends the most players to universities out of any division juco..
raiderfan Posted March 29, 2007 Author Report Posted March 29, 2007 Massey of dayton- incredible defenseJake Rowell of LCM- great hitter
newkid09 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Woodville Trey Ford is gona be a very great catcher. He is a sophmore this year and he is haveing a very strong year batting right at .400 and he still has two more years to improve to be even better.
midcountymadness Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 I think a few Dayton people are beginning to give the rest of you a bad reputation. What a great kid Jake Rowell is. What a leader he has been for his team. TCSB feels the need to degrade him. I think that is just downright sorry.
ABCD14 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 WB's Todd Wallace. Hits for average and power and shows a great arm from behind the dish...
2throwrundown Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 I don't remember his name, but IMO the best catcher that ive seen all year is the kid at Silsbee. Constantly working behind the dish and never takes a pitch off. And i have seen most everyone mentioned here play.
