I haven't seen Shepherd, but I know they beat a quality team in Splendora.  That said, if Liberty keeps playing the way they have, I'll take the panthers.  They look tough defensively, and have several players in their line-up to string a few hits together.

Liberty I believe faced Splendora's #1 Pitcher and won - They then faced Tarkington's #1 or #2 and agian won.  I have not seen Shepherd play but in talking to someone who was at the Splendora vs. Shepherd game it appears Splendora gave this one away.  Numerous walks and errors with what I heard was 1 hit.  Gonna be interesteing as in their 2 district wins Liberty has had solid defense and pitching but really has not hit the ball they way they can.  If they get the bats warm they can score often.  Either way this is gonna be a big game for both teams to prove they deserve to be the District Leader. Prediction: Liberty 8 Shepherd 3 - Going for 3 in a row. :)

Dang!!!!...Shepherd not gettin much of a look here....well i think that they gonna pull it out against Liberty.....Even though Splendora had 6 errors or so how did they make those....Shepherd must have been puttin the ball in play and makin them make plays that they didnt make........Shepherd must be hittin the ball...so we will see.

liberty you beat the first two teams you guys faced in district play and they are said to be the best two teams! and how is it you guys still have no respect!! keep playing hard panthers yall will eventually get it! ;)

hardhitter35, are you talking to yourself, cause I am pretty sure you are on the team, but you are right, I believe liberty is a lot better than shepherd..

Well i have to say it was a good game......Congrats Liberty.....Liberty won 9-6 .....it was one of those games where the team that made the least mistakes would win....Shepherd made at least 5 errors....Liberty and Shepherd both hit the ball well.....Shepherd hit the ball right at people when they hit the ball didnt find the gaps all night.....Liberty capitalized early by scoring a few runs on an error in the second inning with two outs.....Shepherd was down 7-3 in the bottom of the second inning.....they scored 3 by the way of a 3-run HR to center..to make it 7-6 Liberty goin into the 7th....Liberty scored 2 in the top of 7th....Shepherd hit the ball 3 times in the bottom of 7th and liberty made the plays......Well played game on both sides

yeah im on the team! i get on just to see what people think! it gets me pumped up when i see we are not on anybody's good list! WE love it! i dont talk trash just simply trying to put my school and the team on the map; and earn some respect! thas it no harm in that!

Hardhitter you say it gets you pumped when you see that people dont think yall will do good...Why do you come on here then...lol....only myself and a couple others thought taht shepherd would pull it off.......lol
