Tonight, one SETXsports team looks to build on their opening week win while another looks to bounce back from a Week 1 loss as the Silsbee Tigers travel up to Newton County to take on the Newton Eagles.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 1-0 on the season come off of a 71-0 win over Kirbyville, while Randy Smith's Tigers, 0-1 on the season, come off of a 48-14 loss to Port Neches-Groves.

Newton leads this series 9-7 after a 41-17 win over Silsbee last year.

These officials have called 3 illegal procedures on the same drive.. WTH Silsbee goes backwards and is forced to punt

New to has answered my question on passing but Tigers intercept the conversion Newton leads 12-7.

Eagles have made two great adjustments and didn’t wait to do it.  

Selling out when Taylor runs the O.

Eagles also opened up the offense to catch the defense swarming the ball carrier.
