Yeah, I heard BH fans saying the same thing when they hired Westeberg. You still have the same athletes and no Deshawn Washington though. Based on what I've heard about how Crosby feels about WOS after watching film and film I've seen of how Nederland looked against them, I would say Nederland would be doing well to stay within 20 points of this version of Crosby. 4-12 for 53 passing yards and a pick if pretty bad, as is 41 rushing attempts for 127 yards. It doesn't have anything to do with how good or bad Nederland is though, it's about them just not matching up well. You'll understand what I mean when Ned goes to BH in a few weeks. BH has looked subpar to date but watch how much of a matchup issue they are for y'all.

every week matchups are different,not knocking anyone just speaking the truth.true only had 50 yards passing an 150 yards rushing,it was his first varsity start ever against a team that has been to state the past four years,im sure he was a nervous wreck,not to mention pouring down rain and muddy grass field,,again the other teamn played in same conditions,not trying to make excuses.so explain manvel lost like 18 starters from last year I believe yall only lost three defensive starters from last year but this defense gave up 539 yards rushing last week,hey all that matters is Crosby won.just curious about your statement about this version of Crosby!!

Lol no slot T. They lost their 3 star qb with basically their entire team and head coach which is the qb  coach at Syracuse now. The kid they had at qb was no where near the caliber of Kasin Martin and their receiving core was the least athletic I have seen from them in at least the last 6 years I have seen them in the playoffs. Their running backs were both very good but kept coughing up the ball and they had some horrible penalties. Crosby did what they had to do to win for sure but this isn't the typical Manvel team I have been used to seeing. Manvel still has the talent to win a lot of games but will lose against good teams when they turn the ball over 4 times and don't cause any. Just not the team that can overcome the things they probably could of in the past. Crosby rolled their safeties up 4 yards of the ball for much of the night because they just couldn't stop the run and if a kid like Preston was getting man coverage with no help and the entire deep middle of the field wide open it would have been easy pass and catch td's the entire night. Defensively Manvel is descent but I mean New Caney held Crosby to 28 the week before so the fact the gave almost 50 doesn't really impress me. I thought Crosbys offensive line was the difference in the game and really deserve the game ball.

Manvel is still manvel trust me when I say they are loaded, turnovers were the difference in this game and the threat of having to play a spread team with a true qb, safeties played deep most of the night, just look at the championship game from last year their defense got exposed.

Could be but will have to get much better qb play and cut out the turnovers and penalties. They are very beatable this year unlike last years team. Still a huge boost for Crosby and a big win. Just have seen a lot of Manvel games over the last several years and this is a totally different caliber team.

Alltho BYE has been undefeated for the last 100 years, I'll take Crosby by 3, in a triple overtime field goal off the safety's hands and just through the uprights.

I'm just ready to come check out that Crosby WOS game. Should be another good one. I will give Crosby one thing the atmosphere is excellent and great turnout. Really cool seeing that game ball being parachuted in.

Yep, that was the stats with our back up QB in a flood of a rain storm, but ... we still have the play the game and I will say I am really looking forward to it.
