Crawford Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Hated Giants come to Dallas under the prime time lights. Giants lose their season opener, to a very tough Jaguars team, 20-15. While the Boys looked horrible against the Panthers, losing 16-8. Thoughts. Quote
baddog Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 I think the Giants lost their RB, who is supposed to be pretty good. We can't stop RBs or running QBs, so that could be a good thing. Hopefully our offensive line won't look so offensive next outing. Zeke had no holes and Dak had no time. Quote

I can’t find anything online about Barkley being injured? He had a big game yesterday. Quote

Tigers2010 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 What an awful prime time game. I surprised the NFL doesn't try to flex another game into this slot. Quote

People will watch it because Dallas is playing. The haters will be out in full force hoping Dallas loses. Dallas faithful will be watching hoping to see The QB throw farther than twenty yards down field. The ratings will be through the roof all because Dallas in on. baddog 1 Quote

That does not change the fact that arguably the two worst offenses in football will be playing the Sunday Night Game. That does not make me a "hater" or hoping Dallas loses, its just fact. Dallas is awful. Quote
Tigers2010 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Honestly, after checking the schedule, there ain't many other options. Other than Patriots vs Jaguars I don't see any compelling games. Quote
STiger85 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 The only reason the NFL would change a game is if they think the ratings would be low. That means people not watching. The Giants have the New York market and the Cowboys have America’s market. Don’t matter how the game goes they going to get their money. Lol Quote
Tigers2010 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Again, that is wonderful. Not really my point. The point, this is an awful prime time game to watch. That is undeniable. Quote

They should be concerned. The Cowboys might be the most popular team in the NFL, according to the This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up , but the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers are the favorite teams of those under the age of 30. The Cowboys make up the big meaty middle — they’re the dominant team of those aged 30-64 — but that group doesn’t determine who is cool these days. Ninety-four percent of respondents under the age of 30 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up that the Cowboys were not “America’s Team.” PPP also found that no survey takers from ages 18-29 listed the Cowboys as their favorite team, but 41 percent of those under-30s did say the Cowboys were their least favorite team. It'll be interesting to see how long 7-9 will be acceptable by Americans. Numbers are already showing people who didn't grow up in the 90's don't like the Cowboys. Quote

Crawford Posted September 17, 2018 Author Report Posted September 17, 2018 Nice pass/catch from Prescott to Austin 64 yds touchdown! JWB 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 The defense looks great. The offense is stagnant. Dak has made a couple of good throws, but a few bad ones as well. If he doesn’t improve drastically over the season it might be time to trade up and draft a quarterback. Quote
bullets13 Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 Good drive there. That’s the sort of play calling they need for him to succeed. More of a college style offense. Of course, that style of offense usually doesn’t work to long in the NFL. Crawford 1 Quote
baddog Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 Dak's biggest problem is the offensive line needs to get Zeke going. JWB 1 Quote

baddog Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 Before the first game, i mentioned that iwanted to see the Cowboys throw the bomb on the first offensive play.....a la Meredith/ Hayes. Well, they waited until the second game's 3rd play. See how well it works? Lol Quote
Tigers2010 Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 Overreaction Monday. The Giants are one of the worst two teams in the league behind the Bills. This is the 9th game out of the last 12 Dak has thrown under 200 yards. A bad team, beat an awful team. 160 Passing yards... 64 coming on one play. But, that is exactly how Dallas has to play to win, rely on Dak as little as possible. BS Wildcats 1 Quote

A running game is a QB's best friend. Everything works off of it. BTW, what pro team do you follow again? Tigers2010 1 Quote
