The Silsbee Tigers will host the Nederland Bulldogs in the home opener for the Tigers. This will be an uphill battle..  Silsbee has faced two of the top QB's in SETX.  The Nederland QB isn't as good, but can make plays.  I don't think it will be a blowout,  it I expect another loss....  Unless offense playcalling can get creative and not redundant...  And for Pete's sake, please stop playing 15 yards off the receiver.  Let them prove they can beat you.

Silsbee has to be more balanced on Offense. The QB position has been an issue and until they settle on one and give him all the reps and balance the offense then scoring consistently will continue to be a problem.

Watched Silsbee against Newton. They no doubt will be in playoffs in the end. Reminds me of Jasper teams of past. They start slow and end with a bang. I will be pulling for them against the Dogs.

Provided the field is sufficiently muddy & soaked, otherwise, Nederland doesn't pull away until the early 4th quarter

Y’all say Nederland likes soggy wet fields, well they should feel right at home Friday. It’s been fifteen years since Nederland played on this field, they in for a treat! Lol

Before the start of the season I had Nederland finishing 3rd or 4th in this new district. Now I got them picked to finish 2nd...with BH, Dayton, and Vidor fighting for the 4th seed.

I saw some things Silsbee needed to work on.  Hopefully they were busting tail to get those issues resolved...  Will there will be a problem with in game adjustments....  Silsbee haven't done it yet..  their opponents did PN-G and Newton.  I think Nederland will as well.  Hopefully I'm proven wrong from Silsbee's coaching staff....

Nederland has been scrimmaging Silsbee for years after they dropped down. so statement is invalid. Lol
