L-Train11 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Silsbee will score early, coach will change qbs and change up play calling, Nederland will end up winning in a blowout. Boogy1000 1 Quote
STiger85 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 The Silsbee Tigers will host the Nederland Bulldogs in the home opener for the Tigers. The Tigers (0-2) are looking for their first win of the season and the Bulldogs (2-0) are looking to stay perfect on the season. This is the first meeting since 2003 between these two teams. Tigers Bulldogs Friday from Tigers Stadium at 7:30. TigerNation!!! Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 This will be an uphill battle.. Silsbee has faced two of the top QB's in SETX. The Nederland QB isn't as good, but can make plays. I don't think it will be a blowout, it I expect another loss.... Unless offense playcalling can get creative and not redundant... And for Pete's sake, please stop playing 15 yards off the receiver. Let them prove they can beat you. Nederland - 35 Silsbee - 21 Quote
jake94 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 I think this will be a close game. bigd92 1 Quote
bigd92 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Nederland gets the win by two scores Quote
chorizo Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 personally I say dogs by as many as the coaches allow!!! bulldawg64 1 Quote
James Mosley Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 This one will be closer than most people think. Dogs win but by less than 10. Footballfan1209 and jake94 2 Quote
PlayActionPass Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Silsbee has to be more balanced on Offense. The QB position has been an issue and until they settle on one and give him all the reps and balance the offense then scoring consistently will continue to be a problem. dj 1 Quote
OleMoe Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Watched Silsbee against Newton. They no doubt will be in playoffs in the end. Reminds me of Jasper teams of past. They start slow and end with a bang. I will be pulling for them against the Dogs. Quote
Hagar Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Silsbee loses another one, but you have to give them kudos on playing a tough pre-district schedule. bigned85 1 Quote

RoschonsBigBro Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 If Silsbee had depth, they would compete more in these games. ned wins and they pull away in the late 3rd Quote

STiger85 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Y’all say Nederland likes soggy wet fields, well they should feel right at home Friday. It’s been fifteen years since Nederland played on this field, they in for a treat! Lol png9mon and BMTSoulja1 2 Quote
Michele Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Nederland wins this one. Muddy wet field or not. I see several people think it will be close, I don't think so. Quote
Cougar239 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Before the start of the season I had Nederland finishing 3rd or 4th in this new district. Now I got them picked to finish 2nd...with BH, Dayton, and Vidor fighting for the 4th seed. I think Nederland wins this one in a close one. Michele 1 Quote
Michele Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Off to a good start, but we still have work to do. Keeping everyone healthy right now seems to be at the top of the list. Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 I saw some things Silsbee needed to work on. Hopefully they were busting tail to get those issues resolved... Will there will be a problem with in game adjustments.... Silsbee haven't done it yet.. their opponents did PN-G and Newton. I think Nederland will as well. Hopefully I'm proven wrong from Silsbee's coaching staff.... L-Train11 1 Quote
