Nederland wins but Silsbee will see better days once they hit district. They just can't compete with  decent teams in the larger classifications

WOS and Newton don't have depth and they compete very very well in these games.  We have the talent  It is time that we take it to another level.

Two things I would like to see Silsbee better at this Friday. 1) Penalties-way to many penalties in a game, kills drives and kills momentum. 2) Turnovers-protect the football, mainly the pic six. Both have been when Silsbee was driving. There's other things but these or mentally fixable. You knock these two down and you have a better shot of winning every game you play.

One of Silsbee's problems is the they have given up 104 points in two game while scoring only28. Silsbee is way over rated this year. They will give up another 40+ Friday night.

2017 - would prob been the same...

Stats you quoted have no real value.

When your ranked as high as y’all were to begin the season (#4?), and all the hype is about Silsbee making a run at a championship, and on top of that defense is supposed to be yalls strong point, then I think at some point that tradition has to be changed. Can’t keep giving up 100 points in two games.

Same thing in 2016. Ranked in top 10, heavy on defense. We lost the first two game, not how you want to start the season. We went 6-2 the rest of the season made the playoffs and was twelve seconds from sending Carthage (the eventual state champion) home in the first round of the playoffs. Again not how we want to start, but I hear on here time and time again it’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

I heard Nuke wasn't playing tonight,i hate that for him,he is a great young man.The times he has been at my house he is quiet and very respectful,if that is true get well soon and back to the grind.

I remember you posting earlier this season that you would be keeping up with Lumberton and Silsbee this season. Keeping up with Lumberton is self explanatory with your screen name. It's becoming clear to me why you have interest in Silsbee based on several of your posts.

Not sure what's wrong with him.  He was the one that was the most upset on the sidelines at the Newton game.  I hope it a not that he rubbed one of the coaches the wrong way when he was upset on the sidelines....

I have interest I Silsbee because my in laws live there and because I have a sister who is a Silsbee cheerleader. So I will end up going to more Silsbee games than Lumberton when it’s all said and done this year. And the frustrations I have with Silsbee are the same ones that i hear in the stands every week. So you can think I’m an outside hater but I’m not, I promise. I actually root for Silsbee, just think play calling should be better and defense could definitely be better. Also, I don’t think your fans should settle for subpar performance like “this is how we always start our”. Silsbee is better than that!!
