82 5A State Champs Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 i would have to give the edge to West Brook at this point....they've got two, 1000 yard RB's coming back, a decent receiver in josh powdrill, and a five returning starters on defense!! it all hinges on what kind of quarterback they've got coming up to call the signals and run the offense!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Lee----district champs, period-----i know who they have coming back, the Offense will be crazy!WB-second, the best RB tandem in the state in my opinion, but will get hosed by PAMPAM----Third, whooped by Lee and maybe upsetted by Kingwood againHumble----If they take care of in-town business and upset one of the top 3 they get in.

A quarterback and running back, both of whom were on varsity as freshmen, now seniors. Three receivers coming back of the 4 that started against North Shore in the playoffs. Three offensive linemen starters returning.Did I mention nine returning starters on defense? One first team all district defensive tackle, one second team defensive end, two second team safeties.Lee will be one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the Houston area this year, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a homer ;-)
