Alot of those backs and Wrs should have been out there more often with Roschon in the spring and summer mornings. He was there nearly every day working on something to improve and it shows. Thats the way you do it when you are serious about the game. Thats how you get better. It has to be in you man.  Cant teach work ethic, you have to self motivate and want it

Oh they were out there. Sometimes twice a day.

They had two tds called back and only got three points on those two drives. Was going to be between 28-31 unanswered in the second half instead of just 24. PNG easily wins that game by 20+ with a healthy RJ. Tomball will most likely finish 5th in their district this year.

I figured Tomball would win this one by at least two tds but I also made the assumption Hunter Dunn would’ve progressed more from a promising sophomore year. Kid looks good on the hoof but couldn’t hit the side of a barn today. Still can figure out why PNG just completely abandoned the run.

Oh My God would you PLEASE SHUT UP???  Post on the Crosby threads.  If any of us has anything to say about your posts (on a Crosby thread) we will oblige. You obviously have no idea how to play the game of FOOTBALL.. So WHY should any of us care what you have to say??!  I’m so tired of your nonsense... GO AWAY!!!

Dude, this is a forum. You may not like it but he does have some good insight. Watches a ton of film, may not always be right but makes a good argument.

You haven’t been anywhere near active enough on this site to talk to people like this on here, and won’t be around much longer if you keep it up.

OK I will go away.  14.2 is the BEST!  He analyzes football better than ANY OF YOU IDIOTS.  Crosby is our champion.  Bub BYE.

Don't Fret.....bro....I expect some blow back because we are playing like poo. 14.2 always provides his opinion, sometimes good some time bad, but he will provide it. No biggie, don't let it sweat ya. We should have beat Tomball even without RJ imo, but we played undisiplined all day just like last week with RJ. Can't do that. Tomball actually was not a bad team. Huntsville beat College Station so I am glad to see we are playing good teams

I believe Huntsville lost to College Station last night 20-7. At least that’s what I read.

That’s obviously someone’s mom who created an account just to get that off their chest so I won’t respond. You have it right though Frodo. That’s a game PNG should win even without RJ.

People keep pointing to this or that as to the reason PNG lost but at the end of the day it’s simple. From the point the game was tied PNG had multiple 3rd and mediums they couldn’t convert and ended up giving the ball back to Tomball for critical drives at the end of the game. Add to that maybe the worst varsity interception I’ve ever seen where the qb literally threw the ball to a d-lineman standing ten feet in front of him and there you have it. But hey, like the lady said. I don’t know how to play football so that could all be nonsense?

What did that run through sign say last year... "Teams to Remember, Play in December".

Seem like PN-G has some work to do in order for that sign to make a comeback.  I know it is early in the season, but the last two games should be an eye opener as to where we are at.  First back to back losses since 2012 (we lost all but two games that year).

Too many dropped passes and penalties.  As mentioned above, the inability to convert on 3rd downs, undisciplined play and the abandonment of the running game pretty much sums up the L.

Coach already laying the down the narrative in the PA News, " “That’s what non-district is for. We want to play good people and have a chance to get better. That’s what we’re doing. It’s going to pay off down the road.”   I hope he knows something we don't. Only time will tell. The bye week couldn't have come at a better time. Hopefully he can get the kids hungry or its going to be a long district season for the NDN's.

Take the quarterback out of the picture on any High School team and 90 % will experience what the Indians are experiencing. With you're history, and I've watched Port Neches Football since  the early 70's,the Indians will rise again. Just remember the sea of purple that filled 2/3 of the Astrodome in the 70's.Indians back their kids.

Not to mention he is not even close to the typical high school qb. He would be the best player on the field every game PNG plays this year. Good luck to y'all.

WOW!  IMHO, I could see the QB not coming back this year.   For obvious reasons.

Most injured kids wear shorts and a jersey and stand around on the sidelines. Roschon was in full uniform yesterday, was in every huddle, walked the sidelines down the field as the plays were happening and encouraged his team the entire game. He wanted to be on that field more than anything else. I just can’t imagine him choosing not to come back.

They may just be saving RJ for District play.

Some people just need to understand we’re just not that good this year. Fundamentally we’re awful on defense. We’ve been lucky for the past many years we’ve been blessed with receivers, not this year.

"Good" is very subjective.   PNG will make the playoffs.

Now if you expect to compete for state...different discussion.
