Flores struck out 11 batters and pitched a seven-inning no-hitter as the District 22-4A-leading Indians slipped by Beaumont Central 2-0 at Price Daniel Field.The Indian moundsman didn’t walk a batter. Only two PN-G errors prevented a perfect game.PN-G got only three hits off Central pitcher Cameron Alexander.The Indians, now 6-0 in district and 13-7 overall, scored both their runs in the top of the first inning and no one crossed the plate in the next 6 ? innings.Payton Faseler tripled to start things for PN-G and Drew Barnett doubled to score Faseler. Jon Carnahan later scored Barnett from third on a sacrifice fly.PN-G’s only other hit was a seventh-inning double by Jeremy Dominguez.Central fell to 2-4 in district, 6-8 overall.The Indians host Dayton Tuesday at 7 p.m.
