Jasper fans do...perhaps your HF Horns should care too since they were one of the two sorry teams that Jasper's sorry team beat.

Jasper's backfield will be young and quick.  The question is: Does Brooks have the coaches in place to get the spread back into the form he had it in during his first stint?  The offensive scheme was very poor the last 2 years.  It is going to be a rough year again next year, but hopefully they can build for the following years.

Maybe this is opening up a can of worms, but speaking of coaches, is Carmichael still at Jasper?

The backfield will be "young", but should be more mature and junior dominated instead of sophs.

I was wondering about which coaches would be staying on with Brooks too.

i remember the last time Jasper had a bad season----the next year they went 4 deep in the playoffs with Juniors (mostly) on the team.

Combining the AD/HD Coach job should help Jasper. For several years now Jasper has split talent into all kinds of "specialties". Fall baseball, these kids could only play baseball, an ex basketball coach as AD. Some kids play only basketball. These things do nothing but split the atheletic pool from which to draw from for each sport. And from results, do nothing to enhance these sports. Jasper has not won a state title in any of these sports. Jasper deserves better and hopefully Coach Brooks can restore the prowess of former years.
