KFDM COOP Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 North Sabine---The Intracoastal around Stewts and Sydney Islands has produced some nice trout on Catch Jrs. and mullet. Redfish are fair to good in East Pass on cut bait. Flounder are slow overall. South Sabine---Drifting the reef is producing trout up to three pounds on firetiger colored plastics and live mud minnows. Flounder are fair on mud minnows and chartereuse/white plastics fished around the Yacht Basin. Sabine Pass---Flounder fishing has been fair to good on live mud minnows fished around the Pilot Station. The jetties are very good for black drum and redfish on shrimp.
