I remember that game. Newton is a whole new breed this year, I don’t think they would need 3 overtime’s to win

I wish they would have played last week since they both had a bye week and both have 2 bye weeks

Be careful what you wish for. There is nobody in division 2 that will come close to beating them. Maybe even division 1

Why would you not want to play them.... Playing newton would only make you better in the long run... Newton would beat franklin prolly by the score of 38 to 19... We got some ballers also

Newton has a lot of respect for Franklin.I guess the stars didn't line up for it to happen but I know  that coach  W. T. Johnston did try to get Rockdale  to play  and some others out that way to play Newton. They might not  have been able to find a neutral site. Anyway it would have been a good game. jmo

Rockdale was supposed to be on a rebuilding year after losing alot but looks like they just reloaded.... Newton has two bye weeks this year also correct? If so when is the 2nd bye

Franklin has alot of respect for newton as well i believe they played like 3 years in a row in the playoffs all in newtons favor only win we have against newton is in 2015.... Since 2008 i think we have played newton like 5 times in the playoffs
