NBA_phenom Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Rockets lose!!! >goldan state are awesome! i wonder what happened to t-mac?lol u say they are awesome and don't even know how to spell the teams name right its: golden state............they are pretty good but only when Jason Richardson and baron davis have a good game........reminds of the rockets team when it was Steve Francis and Cutino Mobleyidk i heard the FSN announcer say something about a fracture after the game was over.....pray its not serious
king Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 okay you dont have to make a big deal about it lol.I like to see goldEN state in the playoffs there such a fast team, but you are right when baron and jason have a good game there awesome i remember about last week they scored 77 points against the suns in the first half ;Dt-mac hurt his back again!!!
king Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 From redrowdies.comTracy McGrady took one look at the pace of tonight’s game and decided that his back was stiff. Smart move, T-Mac. Just mention the back and no one asks any questions. As the playoffs approach, we’ve got no problems with this. We know the intensity will be there once the playoffs start, so no sense going through the motions tonight. At some point it would be nice to develop a strategy to compete with these run-and-gun offenses, however. Golden State is Phoenix Jr. The Warriors might not be as organized as the Suns, but both teams play at a speed that the Rockets just can’t seem to combat, no matter how many times they try set up a halfcourt offense and turn the ball over trying to feed an exhausted Yao in the post. With McGrady and Yao rendered ineffective, Luther Head made his triumphant return and carried the load, scoring 30 points on 10-of-13 shooting with only a few embarrassing turnovers, none of which cost the Rockets the game. The official reason for his two-game absence was a shoulder injury, but we’re not ruling out full frontal labotomy.“Spanoulis created something there, didn’t he?†Don’t sound so shocked, Bill. Despite what Jeff Van Gundy would have you believe, Vassilis is a point guard. In his first game action in more than two weeks, V-Span kept his 1:1 assist:turnover ratio in-tact, with one of each in nine minutes.Shane Battier appeased all those clamoring for him to take more shots. The Commish took 17 shots tonight, making just four of them. You could tell he didn’t really want to shoot them all, but when you waste 20 seconds trying to get it to Yao every possession, you aren’t left with many options. Actually, Shane passed up a number of wide open looks early in the offense and ended up committing some turnovers since five Warriors were guarding the other four Rockets.Watching Shane Battier read to sick children at halftime was like watching Brad Lidge’s opening day performance: Not at all out of character, and, for some reason, slightly amusing. Why is Clyde’s “Dancing with the Stars†partner attending so many Rockets games? Patti Smith has interviewed her two or three times from the Toyota Center sideline, but we can’t for the life of us figure out why. It’s not like the show needs any additional publicity. And if it did need a ratings boost, is a 30-second plug on Fox Sports Southwest the best way to accomplish that? We’re not sure there’s a substantial overlap of Red Rowdies and Star-gazers.
Guest AllEyezOnMe Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 2nd worst road team in the NBA, yeh Golden State is awesome :.....homecourt is not an advantage for the Rockets......
