S. Circuit Court of Appeals. All of today's multi-million dollar contract's that these player's are reaping today can be attributed to the sacrifice that Curt Flood made.In 1979, the earliest no-hitter is pitched today by Ken Forsch of the Astros, as the Braves get collared, 6-0. Ken joins his brother Bob, who hurled a no-hitter in 1978 versus the Phillies, as the first brothers to hurl no-hit games.In 1986 at Tiger Stadium, the Red Sox's Dwight Evans achieves a major league first when he homers off of the Tigers Jack Morris on the first pitch of the season !!
