Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Kountze football doesnt need to go to 3A no offense but they probably have a better chance of the playoffs in 1A--maybe.
shooter Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 If Woodville moves back to 3A, how would this affect district 21-3A?
Hupernikomen Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 22-3A has been informed that a new school in kingwood will be in their district next year...at least that is what I have heard.
hssportsfan Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Depending on how the board rezones the Lee-Sterling boundaries and the addition of a 3rd high school in Baytown, Lee might move down to 4A with the new school going in at 3A.
BHFAN Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 As for the 4A district to the west ;D I don't think BH or Dayton moves! The main reason is the Baytown Schools, The new one opens in 08 which will be 4A and move Baytown lee down to 4A as well. I think New Caney and Huffman (3A??)may move North which has the district looking like.Barbers HillCrosbyBaytown LeeBaytown ??? (New School)Galena ParkForest BrookSmileyYou never know what UIL is going to do, but this would make a nice close schedule! I know Dayton probably would like to move back, but the new Baytown Schools will put that in a bind, along with BH if they move use east.
gringo Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 "I think New Caney and Huffman (3A??)may move North "North? to where?
BroncoFan1 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I hope Dayton stays with the Golden Triangle schools. The competition and fan support are much better!
Guest BigHam Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 NS, Lufkin, PAM, WB, Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Woodlands. Man, I hope not. Don't want to make that Lukin trip every year. If there is a realignment for 21-5A I would rather WB head over to the Pasadena area with PAM and Sterling.....

PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 That kingwood school coming into 22-3a only plays certain sports. I heard a bunch of schools were mad about it . Im not sure whats going on with that.
ncplaya Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 As of right now they are playing everything but football. I don't know how they will do on the guys side with freshmen and sophomores but the girls will compete.
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I heard something about them not having a varsity squad.
Guest Kelly Football Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Most new Schools don't start out with a Varsity squad.

PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 I forget. I dont think its a brand new school.
PNG1992 Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 what is PAM's enrollment? They could be close to the 4A/5A cuttoff. That would be interesting to add them to the 20-4A mix, not to mention better for their fans. Old rivalries with PNG and Nederland could be reniewed, and Central & Ozen vs Memorial would produce some classic matchups. Id welcome Port Arthur back!!
gringo Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 What Kingwood school? It's called Kingwood Park - http://www.humble.k12.tx.us/KPHS_profile.htm - it's a part of Humble's school district - they had a freshman football team last year.
