Why throw Wheeler in a 4-0 game in the bottom of the 9th?? Dont take a chance with him screwing up and his head being destroyed like Lidges. Then it almost happened, 2 runs and four hits. To me, just doesnt make sense. Put Lidge in, Trevor Miller or keep in Qualles. Do I need to go coach? (I know, I'd be fired in a week but hey)

Weather forces cancellation of Astros at Cubs today

Complete Astros coverage CHICAGO — Today's Astros game against the Cubs has been cancelled due to weather conditions. The game has been rescheduled for July 12.

"This is probably a good call. It's a good call," Astros manager Phil Garner said.

It's snowing in Chicago today and the forecast doesn't appear much better for Thursday, a scheduled day off for both teams.

The Astros are trying today to line up their charter flight to Philadelphia where they will start a three-game series on Friday.

Roy Oswalt will make that start as scheduled on Friday. Lefthander Wandy Rodriguez, who was schedule to start today, will be skipped a turn in the rotation.
