but by pitching springer they are rubbing salt in Kvills eyes they lost there leadoff hitter and 2 guys that were batting over .400 throwing stringer is just not the right thing to do

I am guessing it is the "standard" rotation that the coach has employed all season long.  He probably needs the work as well......it has been quite a few days since he last pitched.

Went with Hicks instead, but it worked out well for them.

yeah Hicks pitched great with only 1 hit and 12k's he will be a promising arm in the future for the Cardinals
