Tim Beck is in the hospital with an infection and will not make the trip. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.  

 

Question- Hasn’t Herman taken over the playcalling duties lately?  Shouldn’t be much difference?

If he hasn’t, can’t be anything but an improvement anyway.  But word is all play calling has gone through Herman.  Meaning Beck has input but Tom calls the plays.

Well after making some very questionable decisions on kickoff returns, Jamison finally takes one to the house, 90 yards on the punt return.  7-0 UT.

That was a nice drive.  Some nice throws by Sam, Collin with a couple of nice plays including the fade for the TD, and a push by the OL on runs.  14-0 UT

I don’t either.  At the same time, like with the roughing penalties, you gotta have some swagger.  I’d rather get a few of those and have a hard hitting, defense with an attitude than some of what we’ve seen in the past.  King’s Canes in the 90s took it to an extreme.

Collin catches a poorly thrown ball on 3rd and long and then splits about 3 defenders to pick up the first down.  That’s a demoralizing play for K Steak.
