PrimeTime#3 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Coach Hennigan......When was that ever a strike
WooWooMom Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Just wanted to make a correction on OLGabe's quote. The catcher Coach Griff said was an "honest kid" to the ump was not Jake Rowell, but actually catcher Stefan Leger. Both great kids!!
astrosfreak09 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 We were working on the field once and Coach Smith from Jasper said to a Freshman," It's not a woman, dang it, shovel it harder."
Baseball1215 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Maybe it wasn't Jake Rowell that particular time, but I've heard Coach Griff use that saying many a time during Rowell's tenure at LCM. I'm sure Leger will hear it alot in the years to come also. Good kid and I think he'll be able to fill the shoes well
fbplayer999 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Former Buna Coach Jae StokerCmon men, you got to hit that son of a gun menwhen was he there? I didn't know he coached baseball........also alittle out there for a coach to tell a kid to hit another kid with a ball.

blitz51 Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Coach Edwards, a former assitant for PN-G, used to always say "I've seen better hands on a penguin" when a player would miss an easy fly ball.Coach Edwards would also tell guys who had weak arms that he had "seen better arms on a lizard"He was full of these kind of remarks.
