PhatMack19 Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 Started this morning. Team golf representing the USA is one of my favorite events. Add Tiger this year and it should be great. It does kinda stink that it’s in Europe this year and they are playing in the middle of the night thought. Go USA! Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 28, 2018 Author Report Posted September 28, 2018 USA won the 1st 2 points of this morning and are splitting the next 2. A 3-1 start would be pretty great Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 28, 2018 Author Report Posted September 28, 2018 USA leads 3-1 after the morning rounds with Tiger/Reed the only team to lose. Alternate shot up next. Europe usually performs better in this format. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 We are currently getting our ass kicked in foursomes. Europe leads in all 4 matches. Quote
Tigers2010 Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 Not sure why Brooks would be sitting today. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 28, 2018 Author Report Posted September 28, 2018 US is playing terrible in the afternoon round. These matches haven’t been close. Europe will lead 5-3 after Day 1 Quote
BS Wildcats Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 After this morning, you can put this one in the books for Europe. Americans playing horribly two sessions in a row. Possibly looking at another sweep by the Euros. Quote
BS Wildcats Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Huge point by Justin and Jordan! Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 29, 2018 Author Report Posted September 29, 2018 This is getting brutal. It will almost be over before the singles matches start. No energy from the US team all weekend. Quote

BS Wildcats Posted September 30, 2018 Report Posted September 30, 2018 Americans trying to claw their way back. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted September 30, 2018 Report Posted September 30, 2018 Phil and Tiger go 0 and 6 combined in this Ryder Cup. I hope this is their last. Time for some new blood. BS Wildcats 1 Quote

BS Wildcats Posted September 30, 2018 Report Posted September 30, 2018 Never understood why in the heck Mickelson was there in the first place. Bubba Watson not much better! The Americans have no emotion when it comes to the Ryder Cup. It's almost like since there is no payday, ho-hum. Quote

It’s the best part of Ryder Cup IMO. Europe knew we had a bunch of long not so straight hitters and set up the rough on the course to their advantage. Most of the matches were beat downs. It’s hard to get pumped up when you are 3 down after 5. It will be better back in America in a few years. Plus we won’t have to wake up at 1am to watch. Quote

Just told someone at work, got up early to watch that beat down. Quote
