Wow, what a calloused response by the offending schools AD..

basically he said...

we are satisfied with the punishment the UIL requires

they shook hands and he apologized--so that makes it better..

and the one that really gets me is when he was asked if he was concerned about the kid with a concussion..

"it is not my responsibility to worry about other school's athletes.." (paraphrased)

That is a disgraceful response and I am glad he doesn't represent my community.

This is a sad incident with a pathetic response from the offending schools AD.  "he sat out his time."  I'd like to think that SETX AD's would have a classier response and deal with their guilty player accordingly.

If that would of been me as the offender my coach would of run me until I died, then kicked me off the team & probably given me swats in those tight gym shorts. That’s the easy part...my dad would work his magic on me too, I’m more afraid of him. 

If I would of been the victim well I would think that when I’m healed I’m taking a road trip, without my dad knowing of course. Then again, I probably wouldn’t because of that “magic”.

I’m not sure what’s worst, the AD’s pathetic remark, or the UIL’s punishment, which is totally inadequate.
