You know if there is one thing that I love about this board is that there are several different opinions and views. I love that! But I think there is one thing we all (except png) can agree on and that is we ALL hate that damn fight song. I’m literally gonna bring ear plugs on Friday and I’ll probably still have it stuck in my head for the next 3 and a half weeks.

I sprained my ankle. I'm in a boot and wobbling around on crutches. Probably no standing for Cherokee for me this Friday, but I hope they still play it a million times.

I hate to say it but I like Cherokee. I was at a Katy game and they played it. It did not even sound good. I remember in the 90’s Lcm would play Cherokee at png games so it would go back in forth. I remember during the bell at school they would play Cherokee during the week of the png game. Coaches would have it playing to get us used to the atmosphere. I wonder if any other schools did this to prepare for png.

I graduated from West Orange High School. And our band played Cherokee. We were  The Chiefs, PNG was just a bunch of Indians. Lol
