I think they’re good but with a healthy Howard I think Crosby gets an easy 40+ on them. Out of all of the favorites A&M Con. was the most questionable becuase they rely heavily on their defense but have to manufacture points on the offensive end. Huntsville is the same way, except with the passing game, which is why I wasn’t surprised when College Station beat them 20-7. When Crosby is healthy the only team I would give the nod to over us in the region is FB Marshall with Hornsby getting eligible, but I also believe Manvel would have an advantage over Crosby on a neutral field.

To be honest, even if Howard isn’t healthy I think Crosby’s offense could score 50+ on PNG’s defense with the backup qb. Crosby’s running game is what leads us to most of those points and PNG has the worst run defense we’ve face all year. I will admit it was tough to gauge Vidor’s run defense with the shortened game and the field conditions. Don’t be surprised if this is Crosby’s largest margin of victory to date.

As for as the game, there are several unusual variables.  Will Crosby start playing before halftime?  Will Roschon be healthy the whole game?  As Bootleg posted earlier, Roschon is the motor that makes PNG go.  Without him, I doubt they make the playoffs, and from what I read of the game, they’d have lost to Vidor for sure.  Crosby gave up 41 points to 0-6 Dayton.  They play D like that against Shug & PNG, the Indians might score a hundred.  I think Crosby wins a very high scoring affair.  The consolation for PNG, I’m not the greatest picker.  As always, I hope both play their best, and no injuries.

Easy now, talk about salt in the wound, we are 0-5, and turning that around this week.

Actually I wish there was a way they both could Lose! but with that said it will probably be another basketball score. But I have to give the edge to the greatest High School Football Program in the United States....Code Pink!    But beware of the Indian Spirit!

I’m still pissed from that 98 game (?) at stallworth that we lost. Coaching errors galore. Our defense held PNG to less than 160and still lost 7-0 I think. 14.2 remembers. Best defense I ever had and we didn’t make it to playoffs, 1-9. Hell jerry beat us at Dayton when the clock keeper feel asleep. Anyway, is PNG going to bring people or just a few????? Asking for the chronicle reporter who is a Stanford grad and has never heard that Indian chop.  Great atmosphere, Crosby 65 PNG 49.
