Santa Fe has a QB with a strong arm. They throw a lot of short passes. Not much of a run game from what I saw vs. Ned. The defense is ok. It was a very muddy game when I saw them so I’m not sure what they look like in good weather. Game was chippy against Ned so I’d figure it’ll be that way against Vidor as well. Give me the Pirates by 21.

Well the only way I see them having a chance is a shootout cuz one thing I know is if you don’t know our offense then it’s very hard to defend and I don’t think they do. And if we were able to hold roschon to a few stops last night then I feel confident in our defense getting a few stops against their qb. So I’ll keep it to this

I doubt Santa Fe has seen this kind of offense. Vidor is very good ball club even though they have a 0-2 record in league play... that’s fine they get to winning ways this week Vidor by at least 3 or 4 TDs.

I say vidor wins,but I don’t think Santa Fe is a cake walk,aggressive team that plays hard,the qb will sling it,vidor db’s may struggle with that,but also Santa Fe will struggle with vidors style of offense.just think it could be closer than most think!!

I’ll go with Vidor by 17.  Heaven knows the Pirates have pent up frustrations.

Vidor played Santa Fe a few years ago which resulted in a win for us.  I know, different kids playing today vs then, but regardless, they had issues then trying to figure out the offensive scheme.  

Town shuts down Friday, and the day will end with a Pirates win and one helluva halftime show.

Lol, not many Indian fans on the Forum.  Wonder if they have a big following?  Being it's Vidor's homecoming, they need to get there early.  The ones that do come will be treated to the best HC ceremony I've ever seen.

This will be one of the best all time Homecoming halftime shows in Vidor history. It will also be a historic one at that . With turf coming next year it will be the last time you see fire twirling, fire boards , flare yard markers etc. Some teams should stick to grass , afterall everything goes full circle and one day grass will be a sought after fad.

They didn't bring a whole bunch of people for the game against Ned.   It was pretty sparse on their side.
