BHFAN Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 I’m going to go out on a limb here and say PNG. Quote
Octfeb Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 It's so heartbreaking seeing them defeated every single game. I love all those kids pooring their hearts out every Friday night. My heart says Broncos. But my head says PNG. Either way PURPLE wins.... GO BRONCOS! NDNation and FrodoNDN 2 Quote
NDNation Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Trap Game! Can't overlook the Broncos. Hope we don't have the big head now. I Love playing Dayton! PN-G bamatex and Bronco94 2 Quote
NDNWarrior Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Much respect for Dayton, but I think PNG will get the “W.” Quote
navydawg31 Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Png by 4 TDs. Dayton has some big kids and fast ones. I don’t get why they haven’t won a game yet. They can be good Octfeb 1 Quote
biaplayer Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 PNG for the win. I do not think Dayton has enough gas in the tank. We have a week to prepare for them and a lil roadtrip there to get the job done. Gonna have to make that drive down Hwy 90 next week one more time lol. Scalpem Quote
Razor Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Dayton has some talented skill position but were totally dominated up front by the Dogs...png handles them as well fairly easily Quote
NDNation Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Y'all let the thread slip to the second page..come on yallllllll Quote
FrodoNDN Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Dayton has always been a dread. They may be down but never out. I am sure we will have to come and play. Can't look pass anyone in this district. Octfeb 1 Quote

CCbigfan Posted October 14, 2018 Report Posted October 14, 2018 Daytons playcalling allows them to get the ball out fast and they will throw it close to 50 times so this game will be alot closer than yall think Daytonfan9210 1 Quote

This will be a true test for the PNG secondary. PNG must get out fast & score. From recent game play, our pass defense is what other teams can capitalize on. We have not pressured the other teams QB consistently either. PNG defense steps up, or we could be in a shootout. Quote
jake94 Posted October 14, 2018 Report Posted October 14, 2018 Dayton will put some points on the board I think. Offense is not the problem. The problem is the defense and they will have to score 50 plus to beat Roschon. Bronco94 1 Quote
BHFAN Posted October 14, 2018 Report Posted October 14, 2018 I know there is a lot of purple love going on here, but this is not the Dayton of 5+ years ago. PNG will dominate from the opening whistle through the halftime show and yes even the 4th quarter. Octfeb 1 Quote
Rez Posted October 15, 2018 Report Posted October 15, 2018 Nothing but respect for Dayton. They knocked us out the playoffs in 2011 and 2014. I don't know what the series record is, but Dayton is scary, no matter what season it is and no matter what their record shows. PNG wins in a tough game against a team with nothing to lose. Let's hope both teams escape injury free. CAL2TEX and Bronco94 2 Quote
PN-G bamatex Posted October 15, 2018 Report Posted October 15, 2018 We talked a lot this year about PN-G's 72-69 win over Crosby in the playoffs last year. Seems it wasn't that long ago that PN-G beat Dayton 42-41, or something like that, in the first round of the playoffs. As I recall, somebody went back and looked it up. That was the Indians' first win over the Broncos since 1947. Lots of history between these two. It was my freshman year of high school, 2007, when PN-G beat Lumberton, who beat Dayton, who beat PN-G, splitting the district championship three ways. I seem to recall PN-G losing to Dayton in the first round of the playoffs around 2014 or so (at Lamar, maybe). I wasn't there, but I've heard stories about PN-G's first round loss to Dayton in 1998 with Dustin Long at quarterback. Everyone remembers Mr. Long's playoff run the following year. Given Dayton's history, it's unfortunate to see how they're doing in the post-Stewart era. Still don't want to count them out, though. Never know what a game against the Broncos is going to look like. I'll call it for the Indians, but not by more than two possessions. Rez 1 Quote
