Jasper @ Huntington

There's been some good discussion the past few weeks about the Bulldogs and I just want to keep it going. The Red Devils have a couple of wins over pretty weak competition in Warren and Livingston, but have really struggled against everybody else that they have played. Jasper will win and it'll probably get ugly early, but how much do the backups play? Jasper will be going into its bye week after this game.

Jasper worked on the passing game last night.  Probably will this next game also.

Hunt will get his yards early and Huntington will fight as hard as they can.  I respect these teams that haven't had success, but still put in a ton of effort and work like those who do have the success.  Sometimes it is about the Jimmys and Joes.  It won't stop them from game planning all week and coming ready to give it all they have.  

Just hope no one gets hurt and that both teams can play with class while representing their communities well.

Been a while since Jasper had a 2000 yard rusher.  He will reach that easily this year if he stays healthy.

The scary thing is that he really doesn't get a lot of carries in most games. It's good to have depth at that position.

We have had so many great RB and just great teams period! Just got a good feeling about this group of Bulldogs

True.  The absolute insane thing is that he only had 20 carries against WOS when he played the entire game.

They just announced this game will be moved to Jasper Bulldog Stadium.  Jasper will run over and past the Red Devils.  Hopefully Jasper will work on their passing game timing and use the first half of this game to prepare for a deep playoff run.  Jasper rolls 55-7 and that is conservative

Barbay will shut the Dogs down in second half.  He is not one to run the score up.  We could have easily scored 100+ in several games this season.  He will use the second half to get reserves valuable playing time and he will likely continue polishing the passing game throughout the game.  This team is building for a playoff run.

Nah, seriously. This would be a good time for the Bulldogs to give their starters limited playing time. Don't need to risk any unnecessary injures over a game where your 2nd and maybe 3rd teams could get the win.

Both school websites has the game to be played in Huntington. Friday Oct. 19,  7:30 pm
