Hull-Daisetta at Deweyville

I am going HD, could be a close game though.  I fully admit this is a biased opinion as I will always see how HD can win the game.  Any other opinions?

The only line of comparison I have found and it's probably not the best but here goes: Deweyville lost by 8 pts to Evadale, which beat West Hardin by 8 points also. HD beat WH 34-0.  Anyone have a better comparison from this season?

They both played and beat Kountze this year. DV won 22-20. HD beat the Lions 36-0.

Deweyville played Kountze with their stud runningback. Hull played them with Kountze missing him. Kountze is a whole different ball club since they lost him.

Deweyville has edged it out the past two years over the bobcats, 22-16 last year and 25-22 the year before. It’s not gonna be a blowout by any team. It will be a dog fight all 4 quarters.

True that Kountze is a different ball team without Adams. HD was still a couple scores better than the Lions even with them missing him in my opinion. That prediction is also based on comparisons with Evadale outcomes as mentioned earlier. Rebs beat the Pirates by 8 and the Oilers by 6 so I’d think WH and DV are somewhere in the same ballpark with each other and HD beat WH 34-0. We shall see in about 36 hours

Deweyville also blew WH out in a 4 quarter live scrimmage week before regular season started. Deweyville beat themselves against Evadale, turning over the ball on a scoring drive and big penalties against the Pirates in the redzone costed them. Gonna be a great game tomorrow, hopefully as exciting as the OT game last year.

HD beat Kountze with Adams out and their Linebacker out. The LB had 21 tackles against HD last year. He played against Deweyville. Even though HD has the best duo in the state in the backfield, Deweyville will win this game. If not, it will be a close game. Ii think DV will eat HD line up on both sides.

HD is the 2nd best team in the District, everyone in the District is way way behind San Augustin. HD’s RB’s, BJ Peterson and Terrick Peterson are elite RB’s. This is HD’s deepest team in years, as far as athletic depth, lots of the Bobcats are just scrappy ball players.
