I don’t think so.   Those rules are setup by the individual districts not the UIL.  So I’m not absolutely sure

Someone posted on Football Friday that both first round games for PNG and Ned would be in Mid county. Is this correct?

That's correct, top 2 seeds host first round games in 5A starting this year.

I knew the 1st seed did. D idnt know the 2nd seed did also. Hope they get played on different nights.

I know they split for D1 & D2. , but in those division they aren’t split again for small school bracket and big school bracket?

No. The split is now done before the season, not post seasons n like previously. 

That is why we now have a 5A Div I and 5A DivII districts whereas as last year we had only 5A. Then we waited to see who made thie playoffs to determine the divisions.

6A had been doing it for a few years, I believe they started it the previous re-alignment..i remember WB played Longview in Beaumont in 2016

I thought only the 1st seeds in div 1 and 2 gets home game Did not realize 2nd seeds get home games?

I think it’s the #1 seed only in both divisions.

It must be both 1 and 2 seeds because after game Friday monte told players first playoff game will be at Bulldog Stadium!!
