BC28in80 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Only one word for this one - WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gtj007 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Mosley, who had the games only RBI, makes a diving catch in centerfield with two outs to save the no-hitter.
EAGLE07 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 BC28in80...you stoled my thunder.........my thoughts exactly...WOW !!!!!!!!!!!
Gtj007 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I might be wrong , but I don't remember any strikeouts!!!!
SETXBaseball1 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 First of all, Congratulations to Beau. A no hitter against any team is huge, and he did it against PNG. Mosley had the only RBI of the game. The runner who scored reached on an error by the shortstop. I believe Flores gave up 2 hits, no ER, and 6 k's. Helmke gave up 0 hits, and surprising he had 0 k's. Great job by the Bulldogs D, and way to go Nederland!
Mack3 Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Exciting pitcher's duel! Both pitched well enough to win but the Bulldog defense made the plays that they had to make. Way to go Dogs! Congrats Beau.
adminbaberuth Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Very well played game by both teams. Sampere made a clutch play on soft grounder with 2 outs and runner at 3rd for NED, Moshier the catcher from Nederland gunned a runner. Mosely made a great catch to save the no-hitter, PNG's Harrington also made some crucial plays. It was nice to see Eric Cammack and Brian Sanches honored prior to the game.
besbolbenbedygud Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 somebody's put a new coat of paint on the 'dog house'............keep it up Dogs!!! how fun is this!!!
mekih Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 more pictures. Sampere getting on on error, moved to second by McFarland's critical walk, and then Mosley's very critical hit was enough to do the trick. You never know just how it's going to work out or who is going to do it but that was the critical combination of events Fri. the 13th for the Bulldogs. Of course the defense made the plays over and over again. Great job.
