All that smack from 14.2 after the Triple OT Win against Vidor an it looks like Code Pink will miss the playoffs along with Vidor. Lol!   News flash: Due to budget cuts 14.2 has been reduced to .2  LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great Job BH!!

Difference is Crosby is always a contender due to talent. Vidor never really is because they lack the talent a diverse community would produce. They do however have an excellent head coach IMO.

On one point you have to give credit to the Crosby team and staff for continuing to fight in these games with 1) the loss of a truly special QB and 2) the soap opera/Watergate like fiasco that has infiltrated every part of Crosby. I heard it in a post where there was mention of the small crowds cause of the utter disgust of the community on what has been brought to light and the unbelievable stuff that hasn’t (May never) come out—yet.

Yet, on the other hand I DON’T get it. How can our crowds have decreased so much, isn’t it at times like this we need support more than ever? This is a sign of a ME society, thinking of I instead of us. Would other communities act similarly, I don’t know. I was always shocked when I started coaching in 83 at Clear Lake the lack of a crowd at such a large school, even when Jerry Stewart turned it around and we were going two rounds at the thump thump school. There always was something else going on and supporting the youth and school is lost in bigger, more affluent communities. I know in Marlin, the poor town I call home, when we won, the WHOLE town traveled like the PNG caravan.  Also adversity can be the greatest motivator for young men to band together if the leadership is there. Eventually it comes down to 11 bodies in a human battle/fight against 11 bodies, that simple. We can make excuses until the cows come home. We got beat in a hard fought game , but got whooped at the character ending. Tough times. We still have two more that could exemplify a monumental comeback and scratching our way back to life like Lazarus to the state playoffs. Gonna take a LOT, but can happen. Hook em, Gig em, Geaux Tigers.

You mean pretender. We’re just as diverse as Nederland and PNG. Take that nonsense some where else. New district, better competition now.

Think this may be an example of talent needs a good coach. Now there is some distractions within the coaching staff. Was told 9 coaches loosing their jobs, not all on the football staff, but will still have a mental effect on the job at hand. Don’t think Crosby can afford to get rid of  the head coach. Gonna be hard to get somebody good to come in with the situation the district is in at this time. Got to keep fighting through. I understand the community being upset, but more division is not gonna help

There are a few die hard faithful cougar fans absolutely trashing riordon on Facebook and twitter right now. He’s gone for sure now.

Since when do the fans determine the job security of a high school football coach? With all the uncertainty of employees at Crosby, could it be that he may be leaving at the end of the season voluntarily? This could explain the sudden loss of games. Just a observation/opinion.

It looks like Barbers Hill still has plenty of money to pay coaches and everyone else . Maybe they can get some D1 transfer and make The Hill the MECCA  in this district!!!

I think BH actually has some excellent talent. Their wide out was big and extremely athletic. Probably the best receiver I have seen this year. RB was big fast and much like the MECCA I think BH has a great opportunity at getting to the second round.
