Here is how you know that Obama is falsely taking credit for the current economy. 

When Obamacare was passed, the Democrats lost control of Congress after 2 years of the Obama administration. The last 6 years were not under Democratic control. No laws could be passed unless the Republicans allowed it. 

It is easy to say “I did that”. It is not so easy (or in this case impossible) to name specific legislation that you pushed through Congress, when the opposition party controlled it, that caused the economy 8 years later to surge forward.
