I happen to respect the Warden. You will never catch him running his head about anyone. I would say he is the furthest away from a crap starter that's on this site.

Sounds like some individual problems on here and not a lot of talk about football. To me it’s simple. Can Nederland our score RJ?  He will get his. He has for three years now and nothing shows that he won’t this time. I like out chances this week but also feel like we need 35 to win this game.  Monte will come up with something to help out since Scott is out. I’m just wondering if the staff of purple with nut up under the pressure. My guess is that they will. Ned 35-31

I feel like Ned’s defense is better than it was last year from the 4 or 5 games I have seen.  Hopefully they can limit his yardage.

Seems all the focus is on Shug. PNG defense better get prepared for a Ned offense who can score on anybody. No smack, just fact.

It should be a tight game with a late winner, but gotta give the nod to Nederland. Better defense. Nothing is guaranteed in High School football. It is a bunch of teenagers. A fumble here or an interception there, give a team a short field or return it for six points changes the dynamics of the game.

The circumstances of this game are very similar to 1999....PNG was 5-1 in district, Nederland was undefeated and pretty much blew everyone out that year with their potent offense. An outright district championship was on the line for Nederland, a co-district championship for PNG. I think we all know how that turned out. Will history repeat itself?

Similar for sure, difference is Png had a defense that year.... a top notch one.

Well bad defense vs Good defense they have played the same teams in district and have beaten the same teams with the exception of a bs ipad uil judgement on alleged use smh. Gonna be a damn good game the way i see it.

The key is our defense. If our guys have a good game on defense we could squeak it out. Dogs D will show up, they are pretty consistent. Would love for BF to shake it up and put Dae Dae with Jalen and RJ on some run plays. Would be a hellva a combo.
