Houston Wheatley beat Navasota they are the DC. IF we  beat Lumberton what seed would we would go into the playoffs at?

It depends by how much and what happens in the Livingston/Huffman game.

If Huffman loses, an LC-M win by any margin will give the Bears the #2 seed.

A Huffman win and an LCM of 21 will tie Huffman for the #2 seed (I guess a coin flip would decide).

A Huffman win and an LCM win of less than 21 points but 11 or more would put LCM in the #3 seed.

A Huffman win and an LCM win of 10 points or less will put LCM in the #4 seed.

Wow a lot of points on seeding. Being number 3 or number 4 is really not much of difference. Wheatley barely beat Navasota. I think we would have a better shot against Wheatley.

I remember that senior year beating. Y’all had a lot of emotions on yalls sideline that game, and it was a close game at halftime. And I guarantee at halftime in the locker room y’all traded jerseys with wos (who was standing on yalls sidelines) and they are the ones who put the whooping on us lol

anyway, y’all haven’t played us since 2013. You’ll see a different team this year.

An HISD school beats a Navasota team. Man how times have changed at Sota.

I was. But just because there is a culture change doesn’t mean instant success when playing teams like PNG and Nederland. And no you’re wrong, it’s not the “same Lumberton”. Just ask anybody in the old 22-5A if we’re the same pushovers.

To two of the better teams in district we were down 24-7 in he second half. The “same ole Lumberton” would have bowed down and took the beating. Instead, we win one game by seven and only lose the other by 4.

That is funny, I figured I would get a response out of yall guys lol. That 2010 game I was sitting on the visitor side of LCM watching my school bring yall to the woodshed  with my inlaws  staring me down like I was on the wrong side of the stadium. I remember you got some playing time in that game. That 2010 LCM would probably would be undefeated right now so yes that was in the past with a lot better offensive coordinator I wish we could get him back. But on the other hand if Lumberton Parents couldn't beat LCM they wont be able to produce any kids to beat LCM lol

jk, but seriously it should be a hard fought game this week. Just by comparing common opponents I would give us the edge. But we all know that’s not a good way to evaluate things. Let’s just hope we both stay injury free for the playoffs.

But all teams will have to play up to par.  I think all 4 teams are about evenly match with Spendora being lucky to win against Lumberton and LCM with close games that could have gone either way.

Splendora is the DC and they earned it, but just like everybody was saying at the beginning there is no clear best team in the district. We may be a weak district compared to the rest of the state, but we are pretty evenly matched which has made for some exciting football each week except two (Livingston and BC)
