Hagar Posted November 5, 2018 Author Report Posted November 5, 2018 As Englebert has pointed out, BAD WORDING IN MY POST. WHO DO YOU THINK WILL PREVAIL. btw, to paraphrase a football term, ROLL RED TIDE. Quote
tvc184 Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 I am hopeful that the GOP holds or gains in the Senate. The House would be nice but the Senate is the key. They approve presidential appointments and treaties. The House has no say so in that process. Without the House controversial legislation (from Dems view) would cease but tax increases, gun control, SCOTUS, etc., would be safe. Hagar 1 Quote
Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 @tvc184 That's how I see this shaking out. GOP holds the Senate and the Dems take the House, which will slow progress considerably. Worst part of that is we'll be reminded that Nancy Pelosi still exists on a regular basis. tvc184 1 Quote
