Good game Indians! Shug is a beast! The defense stepped up big time. The better team won tonight. We had no answer for Shug. Ned had to play keep away without Kade Scott and a very hobbled Macyzk and did in the first half, but PNG forced us to have to pass a lot in the 2nd half which isn’t our bread and butter. I was surprised we didn’t use Fuselier or Armani more with Mazyck obviously limited. Blaysin ran hard all night. Hats off to the Indians for making the stops when they needed them and making several key 4th down conversions.

Good luck to the Indians in the playoffs. Let’s regroup and get healthy, Dogs!

Congrats to the Indians!

Is Neds other running back still hurt? I didn't hear his name much on the broadcast, (the one that starts with an M last name) having both of them out really puts a kink in Neds ball control offense and they could both bust for some big runs, hopefully he will be able to play for the playoffs! ....the 2 turnovers where big !  PNG D has played well the last 3 weeks...good luck to both teams in the playoffs next week :)

I just read through this entire thread and couldn't find not one PNG fan complaining about how much Faircloth runs RJ.  Maybe I missed them somewhere in those 11 pages.  Or maybe BF knows what he's doing with that absolute beast in the backfield after all. You be the judge.   But seriously, how many carries did RJ have tonight?  Sounded like a great game between class act programs leading into the playoffs. Both teams will represent SETX well. Good luck to both teams.

Nobody gets upset when it works...lol...according to the stats in the paper, Johnson carried 35 times and threw 18....that’s 53...it shows png ran 56 plays...like I said before, Faircloth finally didn’t try to get cute, in fact if anything, lacked imagination...roschon is an animal and I have said for 3 years now, is a once in a generation talent...I sure hope that translates at Texas...my guess is that it will

35 carries for 258 yards and 5 touchdowns 16 total TD in mid county madness I don't see that record being broken...honest assessment PNG loaded the box and it's been mentioned on this board before that Nederland doesn't have a receiver that can stretch the field well last night it showed it didn't help that Scott was out and Mazyck was still nursing his injury as well which is why he only had 9 carries on the night

Yes Mazyck was gimpy at best.... He ran the ball a few times but was limited due to his ankle.... showed a flash of what he has to offer, oh well next year!!!

Kinda funny how people called for BF’s head when he ran RJ so much last year...according to the PA News he has 1 more carry last night than last year.

But in all reality, Bulldog fans are glad to not have to see that guy anymore (unless there is a 4th round rematch).  Guy absolutely took our lunch money the last three years and did what he wanted.  As difficult as it was to watch him gash Nederland play after play and year after year, it was actually kind of an honor to see him play.  Not everyone gets to see that kind of talent at the HS level.  Texas will be in good hands the next 4-5 years but until then, best of luck in the playoffs.

By my count of the PA News stats his career rushing totals came out to be 99 carries for 787 yards and 16 TDs...that’s 33 carries for 262 yards and 5.3 TDs per game...

I know Scott was out, but folks don’t forget PNG’s two biggest o-lineman (Garth and Burt) were out and been without Deslatte at RB for weeks.

Here’s good news...Defense has stepped up big recently, Deslatte was in uniform could be in game next week as was Burt.

I am so glad RJ is gone. Plus it was good to get to see that kind of athlete in real life. He is deserving of everything he has earned. I don’t know of any other single player that has 16 touchdowns against us in 3 games. Good luck the rest of the way

True, we really needed Scott though, he’s a first down getter and blasts through for big runs. Doesn’t matter though you work with what you have

Great game Indians. Your offense is what I expected, your defense was not. They stepped up. The dogs did not have the intensity the Indians did in the second half. The most mistakes I've seen the dogs make all year.  Can't do that in this game. RJ was on a mission and no body was getting in his way. The dogs were a little to conservative at times last night in my view.  It would be pretty cool if we get another chance to play again.

Oh C'mon Bigdog!  You make it sound like he had a recording studio in there.  He had a freaking iPad... that he didn't even use!

Hey I was just answering the question.

This is best picture I got.  Props to both bands and their Directors for honoring our Veterans!!!  I think both should be the Channel 12 Bands of the Week.

This is the hidden content, please

If I remember correctly (no guarantee of that). They have done this once before.  I think right after 9/11.

Roschon was exceptional as always and I’m proud to see him get his revenge on Nederland after they spoiled our perfect record last year. That said, the PN-G defense was the game changer last night. I never thought I’d see PN-G go +3 in turnovers against Nederland in the Faircloth era. We had a pick six called back on a post-turnover block in the back, and Roschon took it to the house on the very next play. That kickoff fumble recovery just about broke Nederland’s back. We had trouble stopping the run at times, but we made adjustments and we did what good defenses do: we took advantage of Nederland’s mistakes.

Roschon looked great, but the defense gave him a bunch more opportunities to look great. We’ve made a ton of improvements on that side of the ball the last three games. Give those kids their due.

Nah, Nederland is a little more classy than that. That's not how we roll on this side of the river...  Thx for trolling, who y'all got this week 1rst round?

They have basketball this week. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce.

Nederland has shown a lot of class this week in multiple ways.  Including this post. Best rivalry in SETX by a thousand country miles.  Good luck to both teams in the playoffs

Teams with winning traditions take losses with grace, PNG does the same when the dogs win. Honestly though if we have to share a DC sharing with anyone else wouldn’t feel right. Iv got to many PNG friends to feel anyother way, the true bulldog nation will back this up.

Shug did what he does best. Every person in the stadium knew he was getting the ball but he couldn’t be stopped. The difference maker was our defense. They played Iike they were on fire and you could slowly feel the momentum shift as their confidence built. They had something to prove. All together, the Indians owned the night. Period.

That being said, the Bulldogs have had a great season so far. Not to discredit Neumann in any way, but Coach Barrow in my opinion was always the man behind the curtain. Hence the reason Nederland is still a force be reckoned with. Glad to see him at the helm.

This win will be celebrated all weekend but come Monday mid-county goes into their post seasons pulling for each other. The best of luck to both teams.

Also I have to add I was glad to see the student section held until both teams shook hands and were able to finish the gane in a sportsmanship manner. Trophy or no trophy it was classy last night.
