The Silsbee Tigers embark on their Class 4A, Division II playoff journey as they take in the Shepherd tonight.  Randy Smith's Tigers, the District 10-4A-II runner ups, finished the regular season at 6-4 and district play at 3-1.  Meanwhile, Miles Robison's Pirates, 9-4A-II's 3rd Place school, finished the regular season 6-4 and district play 2-2.

The winner of this game will face the Wharton/Smithville game. which is also being played tonight.

I see Shepherd is missing their starting QB and the back up Qb. Plus a few more. Those kids start on defense also. Before it’s said not using it for an excuse. Silsbee should win if those kids were playing.

Yeah I would say the last few games Silsbee has digressed. Haven't been to a game in a few years but listening, it sounds like the play call is absolutely horrific. I understand the penalties are big but I would add that the play calling all season has been pretty bad. Every play I hear is a run up the middle.
