Fairclothe Going off at someone in stands

Any idea what happened here? I have been to a many a high school football game, and have never seen a head coach act like that towards a fan. I mean on row 21, I could hear him word for word.

Faircloth won’t tolerate someone berating his players. The dude needed to shut his mouth. Kudos to coach.  This isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen someone in the stands get shutdown by our coach. Happened in 2010 as well.

Unless you know all players and their parents, there's a good chance you are sitting next to the player's parents. That could get interesting.

If we have a fan berating a player or players to the point Faircloth has to say something,  that person needs to be staying home on Friday nights or watching from outside the fence.

Didn't hear but someone told me about it while I was there. Don't know what he said, but I don't think BF would just do that without a reason. We have plenty of people that are arses in the stands.

Understand standing up for your team, but you have to brush these things to the side. You just won 48-7 in the first round of the playoffs and your worried about what a fan thinks. Since the beginning of time people have criticized the Head Coach because they did not agree with his philosophy.

If the problem is really that big that BF felt he needed to do it like that, then maybe the school and the other person involved need to have a sit down and discuss the issues at hand and consequences if the matter keeps occurring.

Coach is one thing. It was said the fan was trashing a player. Way different if true

I was 23 rows up going live and i heard it plain as day. At first glance i thought it was directed at a player but when i looked that direction i realized that it was a fan. Smh

People are yelling down at the field every game. Some fans act like they have the bank account riding on the outcome. Coaches and players usually ignore it. Must have been really bad and uncalled for if BF  stepped in.

There was a fan sitting near the railing in the stands that said something. If it’s true he was bashing a player then Faircloth had every right to yell at him. The fan was escorted out after the incident. And no, they don’t need to have a parent teacher conference as you suggest. Just ban the fan from the stadium. People like you are the reason this world is soft today. Back in my day if the coach didn’t go after the guy in the stands for berating a kid, then another fan would take care of it.

21 rows up isn't really that far when a fan is yelling down to the field. What does it matter what player.

I can’t imagine what this guy had to say in order to get thrown out of the building it must have been really bad

I don’t know what was said. My son was coming of the field and didn’t hear it. But for Faircloth to do that it had to be bad and probably going on for a while. If it was a lineman the guy was berating, he’s lucky Medlock didn’t go off.

What he is saying is that 21 rows up you could hear Fairclothe word for word. The person he was screaming at was on Row 1.

Must be for good reason that they make the good sportsmanship announcements before and during the game. From 33 rows up (still breathing hard) I was oblivious, but if Coach had the back of a player, good on him!
