Govenor Abbot has promised that no Thanksgiving Weekeng shenanigans will be allowed. 

ie food poisoning, hotel prank calls, etc

He has committed to use Tommy Lee Jones, Chuck Norris, and the full force of the Texas Rangers.

By the way, Tre Watson should be the poster child for the student athlete.  Already has a bachelor’s in Sociology from Berkley and now working on his graduate degree in social work from UT.  Will end up with degrees from 2 of the public Ivies.  Not a bad way to use your talents on the field to get a couple of expensive diplomas.

Sam misses a wide open Beck for an easy score and then throws his first interception since the Maryland game.  He hasn’t looked sharp at all since the opening drive.

Texas looks like they are just going through the motions. Kansas is playing inspired ball. Sam throwing high. Texas defense playing real goooooood.

Dicker the kicker put the Horns up 24-7 in the fourth.  Sam continues to look a little off with his throws.

Kansas cuts it to 24-14 on a pretty impressive TD catch.  Kansas with a couple of late scores on an otherwise impressive outing by Coach Flat Top’s D.

All kinds of shenanigans going on now.  Kansas gets a rekick on an onsides kick.  Officials rule a Kansas recovery despite Texas coming up with it.  No review. Smh

Kansas gets a 47 yd FG to make it 24-17 with 1:37 left.  Here comes an onside kick.  KU out of timeouts.

LJ is there to corral it and the Horns get in the victory formation.  Texas will get the 24-17 and move to the Big XII championship game in Coach Herman’s second season.   Ahead of schedule.  And as all those in the know are saying, college football is the beneficiary.
