WOS vs Jasper - Friday 7:30 @ LAMAR

  With it being this late, I doubt it will be decided where and when today. From the information on different threads on this site, the coach's are waiting for admin to get involved. Whether this is due to the coach's cannot agree or just an admin thing I do not know. I remember some years ago another playoff game for WOS was not determined till late in the week like late Monday or Tuesday due to neither coaches would give in one bit. The true people this hurts is the fans. The players will play whenever and wherever. True fans just want to know to make plans for the game. IMHO

Hurts the fans?  Monday gives you 4 days to plan...just like the good ol days before everyone craved instant access to every piece of info.  I would say it is almost a given it is on Friday, so just plan on that.  If anyone is “hurt” it is the head coaches having to divert attention from game planning by making/fielding extra phone calls.

Defense is huge for WOS this year.Early on we gave up way to many big plays.That has gotten a little better recently.Our offense is not going to win a shoot out so the defense is our bread and butter, more so than in previous years.Just ask Silsbee.When they were in D1 a couple of years ago they had a hell of a offense but couldn't stop anyone.Had they had a defense to go with their offense they could have made a long run in the playoffs.

Game will be a thursday night game at Lamar. Hunt will not be playing. Still predicting Jasper win.

No its not Thursday!! Once again the game will be friday.ik first hand. They are waiting on Lamar administrators to return tomorrow. First thing in the morning. The game will be set for both sides. Both head coaches already know the situation. Coaches from both are concentrating on there game plan for Friday.they know Friday will be here soon than u think.

I understand. The jasper guy is the one that said Thursday. I wouldn’t be surprised if jasper wanted a Thursday game.

Done?  Because you don’t know the exact time and location of a game potentially 5 days away?  I do believe you are a former player and now a “fan” and you are letting this steer you away from WOS and Jasper in the PLAYOFFS?!?!

We talk about encouraging the kids to overcome adversity and stick together.  Especially from the guy that calls everyone nonbelievers and still has his room booked in Dallas.  Hope more of us “fans” can pull through this huge hurdle and make it to the game.

Hopefully you will at least cheer for the Northshore Mustangs.

Guess we’ll find out tomorrow. I would gladly be wrong but I was told from an Jasper administrator game would be Thursday night @ Lamar. Also that Hunt wouldn’t be able to play.

Well the info I was getting was coming from one of the the head guy at WOS. I don’t think there anything official yet.

Trust me I posted it earlier to attitude is everything that the time and place wasnt gonna be set until Monday morning!! Lamar did give the okay if Lamar lost. But both teams are waiting for confirmation from them on the time.even in worse case lumberton or png. But definitely Friday is a go.

Most likely, at Lamar  and Friday I hope. Jasper fan we will prepare as if Hunt is playing  for sure. Those half back passes, end and arounds, fake punt, throws by the kicker and all the other trickery plays. We will be ready. GO STANGS GO!

This should been settled days ago. I'm not waiting on it. Katy and north shore nrg Friday night 7:30. They will get my money

Regardless were and when this will be a classic Jasper vs WOS playoff game!!

Both team's defenses are playing at a high level.

Whoever has the less mistakes we'll move on to the next round!!!!
