Silsbee vs WOS - Regional Finals

Just read on Silsbee ISD website that the game will remain on Friday at 7:30 at Texas Drive Stadium.

Humble Turner stadium does not allow umbrellas but I have never had a issue at Texan drive with one.

I have my texan live subscription just got it I’m watching all the Thursday night games now so I’m set for Silsbee and Wo-s in my home praying for everyone going to the game and coming home as well as players everybody be safe.

I think Silsbee has a slight edge on talent, but WOS has a huge edge in coaching. Besides that, WOS is never short of talent and a will to win. Silsbee plays hard, but their season ends with this game.

If the predicted rain comes, and they don't reschedule the game, it is anyone's guess what happens. I am amazed that they did not reschedule.

Right no more about the weather.

My question is will the rain favor WOS or Silsbee?  The Weather Channel has heavy rain at game time lasting till halftime.  The Mustangs have scored 21 consecutively the last 2 weeks against defenses that are probably about as good as Silsbee's.  Silsbee has been scoring more than that but against lesser defenses.  Heavy rain will just about cancel the possibility of downfield passing. Can Silsbee score more than 21 in these conditions against this defense?  I hope so but objectively I'd have to say it's unlikely.  21 - 21 at the end of regulation?  Course it's just speculation.

Or, what if Silsbee ties it at 20 -20 at the end of regulation.  WOS having missed an extra point in the first half.  The kick is up and it's GOOD!  Final Silsbee 21 - WOS 20.  Now wouldn't that be something!  Lightning striking twice.
