Lufkin head coach JT McManus told me at Nederland tourney to keep my eye on Palestine. He said they were very good.

What Region is Palestine in this year. If they are in Region 3 it could get real tough. I have been told that Yates may have had a couple of move-ins, 6'7" and 6'9".  You know people are dying to move to the 3rd Ward. Houston Scarborough should be good. HJ is always tough. That makes the Region tough without taking Silsbee and the Waco schools into the consideration.

Yes, they’re in Reg 3, and are sitting at 11-0 against some pretty good competition.  Don’t see them as a giant killer (Silsbee), but they’ll put some L’s on quite a few teams.

Palestine beat Center last night, 65-60. A team Silsbee beat last week 114-53.

Palestine may be one of the better Region III teams, but probably not ready for prime time players.

That Center score surprised me. Could be that Palestine had some players out for test, etc...Pasestine has some good wins but not sure they are a top contender in the region.

No players were out for Palestine.
