Cuero 29 Silsbee 24/FINAL

The Silsbee Tigers have only one more obstacle between them and a trip to AT&T Stadium.  That obstacle, the Class 4A, Division II, Region IV champs, the Cuero Gobblers as they clash in this Class 4A, Division II State Semifinal tonight!

Randy Smith's Tigers, 10-4 on the season, took the following road to reach this semifinal:

Bi-District: Shepherd, 52-13

Area: Wharton, 56-14

Regional Semis: Giddings 38-21

Regional Finals: West Orange-Stark 19-9

 

Meanwhile,Travis Reeve's Gobblers, 13-1 on the season, took the following road to reach this semifinal:

Bi-District: Pearsall, 66-12

Area: Rio Hondo, 56-0

West Oso, 59-20

Geronimo Navarro, 48-23

 

The winner of tonight's game will face either Iowa Park or Pleasant Grove next Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Crazy..  they can't stop the run..  but silly penalties slow drives down.  

We need a stop in the third quarter and keep scoring.  Stay with the game plan and put these Turkeys away...

With Taylor not taking alot of snaps after shoulder injury has taken a bunch of the pop from run game.  It's all business between the tackles tonight.
