Channel 12 > Channel 6

 

I dvr’d both 10pm news to watch the WB Segments.  Channel 12 & Lance Edwards led off the show with a nice segment with highlights and said they would have more from Katy later in the show.  They even threw Newton some love.  

23 minutes into to Channel 6’s show, they haven’t even mentioned that the largest school in their coverage area is going to State.  I’m not sure if they even know it happened yet.  Maybe they will read about it in the newspaper tomorrow.  

I don’t watch the local news much.  I usually just record the Friday night football shows to watch when I get home. Channel 6 has really gone down hill the last few years.

Nice to see Longview giving up some points.  They slot T is tough if you never see it.

was it a triple option base or a bunch hand offs with miss direction

Longview was stopping it and first but sooner or later a defense will let some runs slip through the cracks and plus they started throwing some and got a couple of TDs that way on Longview

yes the flexbone is a triple option. GA tech runs it. LCM ran it in the 90's

Ill say that the triple option must be making a comeback two teams running it in the state semis 5a and 6a.  Pretty unheard of because everyone believes  you have to run a spread offense or your not gonna win.

well this year they were 7-5overall 5-3 in conference second ACC conference. They run it very well.
