D3zii Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 Ive seen a few forums and talked to a few people who are saying this North Shore team could possibly be "The" best team in Texas history. Would you agree?? Quote

I’m too young to know a lot about Texas football history, but I will say that this North Shore team looked like the Houston Texans today lol those were some huge offensive linemen out there!! Quote
Tiger33 Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 I’d say they are one of the best. It’s hard to compare teams when they will never get to play. Quote
Tigers94 Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 2016 Katy might have something to say about that. Also, ironically enough, 2003 North Shore might have something to say about that as well. Quote
Uncle Pig Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 Those Kyler Murray led Allen teams were no pushovers Quote
5GallonBucket Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 Well given some of there studs are underclassmen. Heck next years team could be the best BlackShirts5, Trocket, ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING and 2 others 5 Quote
Kowboy98 Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 I said in another forum that they have a legitimate shot at 3 peating lol Quote
badndn Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 Late 80’s Dallas Carter comes to mind. They were loaded with D1 athletes. Duncanville circa 2018 may have something to say next week. A lot of talent on these two teams. D3zii 1 Quote

This Northshore team could very well have the same amount playing on the weekends... i remember that Yates team, and I know exactly what you mean, I’ve seen some great teams man , (85 Yates, 01, Katy, 03 North Shore, 05, La Marque, etc) but I haven’t seen this North shore team but I’ve heard about them and just wanted to get opinions Quote
WOS1986 Posted December 17, 2018 Report Posted December 17, 2018 WOS 2016 should add on this as well. From what I see the best ever is WOS 2016 group and will never see like this again ever. Quote
WOS1986 Posted December 17, 2018 Report Posted December 17, 2018 I agree that North Shore is beast this year after I went watch them last Saturday against Lake Travis and thought it will be good or close game but not! 3 players on offense is most talent and impact that team and will be fun to watch next year. RidinTheRange Posted December 17, 2018 Report Posted December 17, 2018 5 reasons why North Shore is the best team (maybe ever)... 1. They have the best football player in the country, Zach Evans, and they only use him about 1/3 of the game. I can't imagine if he got all the touches. 2. #5 for Lake Travis is suppose to be one of the top receivers in the nation, they manned him up with their own #5, and didn't think twice. Kid shut him down. 3. Offensive/Defensive Lines... they're bigger, quicker, and meaner on both sides of the ball in the trenches 4. The QB... He's almost as big a threat as the RB, the extra player you can't account for (and he can pass!!!). 5. #2... This Middle linebacker is special. I have seen some in his league, but it's a very short list, and it's taken over 20 years to compile. Yeoj, Trocket, Alpha Wolf and 1 other 4 Quote

bronco pride Posted December 19, 2018 Report Posted December 19, 2018 Did I miss something? I thought Duncanville played NS Saturday for the state championship. I mean to be considered the best of all time wouldnt you have to weigh in their entire season for the debate. So if Duncanville beats NS this weekend will they be in consideration for the greatest team ever. Quote
RidinTheRange Posted December 19, 2018 Report Posted December 19, 2018 I haven't seen Duncanville, but I would say yes. If they are undefeated and beat this North Shore team on Saturday, they have a claim to be the best ever (at least from me... whatever that is worth)! Quote
Tigers2010 Posted December 19, 2018 Report Posted December 19, 2018 Duncanville won't beat North Shore. We can do the "wait and see" "time will tell" stuff, but it ain't happening. TexazBall 1 Quote
Go-rilla Posted December 19, 2018 Report Posted December 19, 2018 This Year For the SETX all star game one teams needs to be just North Shore. North Shore vs SETX all stars. Quote
