It does seem to be making a comeback some lately.  Vidor might be a hot ticket for some preseason matchups just so some of these teams can see that style.  

I agree. I was expecting more from LH. Surprised they did not try to get outside or pitch more in the first half.

Yes and good overall defensive speed always helps. LH has had some missed opportunities. The dropped pass on the fake punt and fumble at the LV 16 come to mind

The big play capability beat Liberty Hill along with that stingy Vaga defense.Liberty Hill's offense( or anyone that runs it) can only move the ball against slow and undisciplined defenses.Vaga defense had discipline and speed.Liberty Hill just ran into the wrong team tonight.

La Vega has always beaten Liberty Hill when they were in the same district. Why should a state championship make any difference? To me, it’s not difficult to prepare for a team you have always dominated.

One thing FOR SURE.  The Tigers belonged in the the semifinal game.  That is beyond dispute now.  WOS would have belonged there as well and might have beaten Cuero, which would have been cool.  But the TIGERS BELONGED.  Not much of a surprise at all if WOS and Silsbee meet in the quarterfinals again next year.  After that?  It will depend on the enrollment at Lumberton.  

I agree Silsbee belonged to be there last week... but what does our enrollment have to do with anything? Just wondering
