Foyce Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 I would like to comment on who did pitch, not who didn't. Jonathan Smithfrom Vidor pitched a masterpiece. He had 14 strike outs and gave up one walk.I agree he was outstanding. Do you think he will pitch on Friday? I was hoping we would Start Hester and finish with Smith.
ballin4life Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 first of all there is no truth to the rumor of laying down to let some team win. ozen pitchers arms are TIRED, and now u have it. think about how many pitches these kids have thrown this year with all the lack of defensive support. These kids have to think about tomorrow and the furture.
tvc184 Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Let's see, Vidor is 9-4 and alone in 3rd place. Ozen is 2-11 and in last place. Which team did anyone think was going to win?I guess Ozen laid down on their other 10 losses also? Actually with Vidor winning 7-3 and was only up 3-0 after 5 innings doesn't give much credibility to Ozen laying down.

tvc184 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I wonder if some of the Nederland fans will now wonder if Lumberton rolled over and let us win. :
