I like Jasper - it's a great place to be!  BUT - sorry Bulldogs, as my old track buddy (and ex-Bulldog)Jose' Moore used to say, "Too tough."  That's going to be Bridge City on Friday - just too tough!

Just guessing, but you may be disappointed if you expect to see a lot of Jasper bunting.  Jasper mostly just hit away against Silsbee and Schooling.  Stringer was perhaps a special case in the last BC-Jasper game.

Looks like "mum" is the word on starting pitchers!!  Can't really blame them for keeping their "strategy" close and quiet!!

After looking at the brackets, any of the three spots in this district should do okay in thier respective games.  I can see it now Region 3 champ being decided by teams from the same district..............heck we can dream can't we??

As for as Carthage is concerned, if you plan to make it out of regionals you have a chance to see them.  But sometimes a team that goes into the playoffs undefeated has a big disappointment early on.  Its like they forgot how bad it was to lose, or they take it for granted that their record will win the game.....my money would be on a team that plays good ball, has a recent loss and that is hungry to go further!!

I guess fate will decide who gets the early shot at Carthage.
